TEAM-BUILDING,
INITIATIVE & MOTIVATIONCOURSE
STRESS CAN KILL
Heart attacks, strokes, nervous breakdowns,
drink abuse, drug abuse, divorce, suicides. So-called modern-day
stress is responsible for all these - wholly or in part. At its
extreme it is accepted as a killer. However, without its capacity
to heighten our awareness, putting us into a form of controlled
overdrive prompted by andrenelin, we would not be able to attain
the performance levels that maintain our competitiveness in
business. It is estimated that over 100 million working days are
lost each year in Britain through the ravages of misunderstood
stress, so little has been done to help ourselves and the
companies that employ us. It is our own fault as there is much
that can be done to help. But first we have to acknowledge that
we all suffer from stress.
BENEFICIAL STRESS
Without some form of pressure it is almost
impossible to perform in life, business or sport, at our peaks.
Intense competition can spur us to our maximum performance
levels. The course programme developed by Go Wild is designed to
provide a comprehensive assessment of the individual and the
company team to recognise the early warning signs of the second
and third levels of stress that are usually ignored and
unacknowledged. Your teams are shown how to utilise beneficial
stress positively; they are made to acknowledge the early warning
signs that presage the damaging second and third damaging levels.
UNDERLYING STRESS
We all, to a greater or lesser degree, live
with stressful situations. The problems arise all too often when
we begin transferring domestic and personal situations into
business areas and vice versa. The team member who either cannot
separate the tow functions or, perhaps more importantly, cannot
share problems is obviously at risk - as is teamwork and
productivity. Eventually the company suffers. Go Wild emphasises
the importance of recognising the early signs, managing and
overcoming these problems.
ACKNOWLEDGING STRESS
Go Wild programmes help you to understand
your body and its needs. By putting you into a realistic survival
situation, you will stop worrying about the day-to-day domestic
and business stresses. You have to. Unless you adapt quickly to
your environment and learn the new skills that you require, you
will very soon become cold, probably wet and definitely hungry.
In the wild, teamwork really counts. Colleagues discover new
things about one another as they work and forage for each other -
with pleasure and light-heartedly.
OVERCOMING STRESS
Go Wild uses alternative stress methods to
help you and your colleagues to unwind. The greater understanding
that you develop brings you greater perception to the best ways
of managing your personal stresses. Go Wild courses have been in
great demand by major companies seeking to encourage their
managers to look for the best in themselves.

The aim is to :
1. Combat stress.
